Importantly, Fortifier Rock Bags are both environmentally friendly and consentable. Regrowth begins almost immediately, especially if local river run is used. Root systems tie bags together and contribute to bank retention. Eventually, the bags will naturally be covered and integrated into the habitat, assisting stability and promoting rejuvenation of the damaged area.

The bags are versatile, robust, and repairable, employing a double-skinned, UV-resistant, polyester raschel net, built to last decades. Expected life is 50 years when buried or submerged, or 20-30 years UV exposure.
